Hissing danger.

The 13-year-old boy ran away from the busy market. Snakes were wrapped around his body. A black snake, with poison green markering, was hissing aggresevily towards the men that were following the Asian boy. His hair was blonde, he had poison green eyes and snake scales spread over his body. The snakes didn't hurt the boy. No. The snakes were the only friends and family the boy had. They did everythin the boy demanded them to do. They were strong and fierce. They would do everything to help and to protect the boy. Why? The boy was a Warlock. A Warlock that can control the snakes, communicate and can poison people with just his fingertips. His name was Jinn and at this moment, he was in some real trouble.

Jinn was since a month or two on his own. He ran away from his addoptionparents because they didn't accept them the way he was. He is stubborn and likes to think that he can survive on his own, even though the world is showing that he is wrong. Men in black were chasing after Jinn. They were yelling at him and telling them to stop running. Yeah right. Like Jinn would turn himself in. He had stolen some bread and other things from the market in order to survive. He was starving and the dead mouse, that the snakes were giving him, weren't enough for him. So he decided to steal from the market. He thought he could do it by himself and that he didn't need the help from his snakes or Venom, but he was wrong. A man noticed him and warned the cops. Jinn could kill the cops, but then he sank just more in this shit.

Jinn rushed into an ally nearby and started to race between the different ally's. They were all connected somehow. It didn't toke long before Jinn had lost his way and lost the cops. That was good thing, but it was better if Jinn was somewhere where they never could find him. Jinn looked around. He stood in front of a row houses. Jinn sighed. As if any of the people inside the houses would let him in. People were afraid of him. Jinn panted a little, but then decided to give it a shot anyway. He walked towards the first door and rung the bell. "Please let me in! I'm being chased!" Jinn yelled at the closed door.

I need that red velvet, I need that sugar sweet
Darkness had filled the quiet apartment room. Curtains closed to prevent any light from coming in. A warmth lingered in the room from the radiators as it was working on almost full power. Shutting out every bit of coldness in the apartment. Entangled in the snow white sheets, a body laid there in utter silence. The chest of the man slowly rising up and down, his breathing was steady and calm. Vance was in a deep sleep, in an attempt to recover from the heavy cold he had caught a few days ago. The result of going on for days without much sleep on just coffee and some unhealthy snacks to keep the sleep away. The usual clean white room was dark, the floor around the desk was filled with tissues, packages of energy bars and useless paper. An image of the usual desk of a student, though in this case Vance wasn't a student, but a hardworking business architect. Stepped into the wrong project, packed with mistakes he and some other guys had to fix. Weeks of paperwork had to be checked to prevent a case or a trial in court. The company had been reckless, not double-checking the contracts and it was now on the verge of breaking the law.

Until a certain point Vance descended into a lighter sleep, making him react easier to sounds. His ears vaguely caught noises from the street. Footsteps that followed each other in a fast pace, a chase? Well, he couldn’t care less really. Maybe kids were playing on the streets. He flipped himself over, dragging the sheet over his body, readying himself to fall into a slumber again. Though a sudden ringing pulled him out his warm darkness. He groaned as he slowly rolled himself of the white king-size bed. His body felt heavy on his legs as he walked to the intercom in a slow pace. Fingers touching into the darkness, looking for the right button to let the unknown guest in. ’Let me in! I’m being chased!’ Hadn’t clearly reached his ears, the intercom volume was low and the actual realisation of someone being chased just didn’t hit him. The door would’ve opened now for the stranger to come into the apartment complex, it was just a matter of time that he would actual find his apartment. Vance made an effort to move himself towards the front door, turning on a few lights on his way. It must’ve been in the evening already, he guessed.

The door slowly opened, one hand up to shield his eyes from the sudden bright lights of the hallway. It took a good few minutes to actually get used to the light and still, his sight was slightly blurry when he looked into the empty hallway. His mind was just one big blur anyway and the bright lights made his headache pound more. He shifted his eyes away, moving back into his apartment, but actually leaving the door open for the stranger to come in. To hide from the ones he got chased by. Only the kitchen light was on for now, but it was a dim light, enough to see the counter. His fingers sluggishly looked into some drawers, searching for the package of acetaminophen. That would ease the headache. After finding it he had grabbed a glass from the cupboard, filled it with water to take in the painkiller. Whilst still waiting for the stranger, his mind was still in a daze, still half in the warm darkness. He didn’t think of the fact that the stranger could be dangerous or the fact that he would just be standing there in his pyjamas, consisting of a white shirt and grey sweatpants and best of all his bed hair. Way to introduce yourself to someone.

The Perfect Place.

Jinn was panting. He felt like he couldn't possibly set another step. His legs were tired of running and you could say that he was out of shape. He wasn't used to run away like that. Even though he was on his own for more than a month. Jinn didn't know what to do. He always told himself that he didn't need anyone. That he was different from everyone else thus he didn't need anyone else like everyone else. But the world wanted to proof Jinn wrong and brought him here: a certain district. Houses were spread around him. It was only a matter of time before the cops would find him. He needed to hide somewhere, but he didn't know this town good enough to know the good hiding places. Jinn was so desperate that he decided to do something that he almost verbad himself. He walked towards a house and rung the bell. He yelled at the closet door, noticing the intercom. He wanted to be let in. Every normal human would've asked the stranger why he was being chased or why he should be let in, but there was no answer. For a second Jinn thought that he needed to run away, but then the door swung open. Jinn looked a little bit suprised. The person actually let him in? Jinn doubted the situation for a second, but stepped inside once he heard the footsteps from the caps. He shut the door immediately once he stood inside. He looked around the hallway. Beast suddenly hissed aggressively. Jinn looked down to beast, but then followed his gaze towards the man standing in the hallway. Jinn frowned. By the looks of it, the man was hungover or sick. More snakes begun te hiss, but Jinn said them to quiet down. He didn't want to scare the person. If that happend, the person most likely would kick Jinn out of his appartment. Jinn followed the man with his eyes. He walked towards the kitchen, where the only light shone. Jinn slowly toke a few step towards the man. He saw how the man toke some painkillers. The man didn't look like he knew what he had just brought inside. Should Jinn say anything? Jinn toke a few steps back and stood with his back against the wall. He decided to just wait. It was actually great that the person wasn't very social. Jinn would've hate it if the person was gonna ask him any personal questions or ask him why he was being chased. The snakes started to hiss again. They weren't happy with the fact that Jinn had encountered a stranger. Just like Jinn, the snakes were rather alone. Jinn looked around the apartment. His night vision was great, since he had one of a snake. He noticed the couch. He glanced via his eye corner towards the man, but then decided to just sit down on the couch. He would just wait a little while and then move on again.

The main area of the apartment was obviously the living room which was attached to the kitchen. It had a high ceiling as well as big high windows, covered by a pair of fair white curtains. Those weren't visible now since it was dark outside. The left wall of the living room part was occupied by a broad bookcase filled with books that were ordered by letter. In the centre stood a low coffee table surrounded by three pair of couches. On one of the couches the stranger had settled down. Despite the dim light of the kitchen, Vance could notice him on the couch. His sight wasn't as great as the stranger, mainly because his mind felt groggy. He calmly took another sip from the glass before putting it back down on the counter. It would take a while for the painkiller to actually kick in, sadly, he would've preferred to just lay down now and fall back into his warm darkness. Though he couldn’t possibly go sleep whilst feeling safe and sound when there was a stranger walking around in his apartment. Slowly bit by bit his mind was going to start making sense of situation. Why was the stranger being chased, what’d he do? Before he was going to ask question, he turned on the  other lights. The space suddenly lit up, a warm glow had fallen over the apartment.

The first thing Vance could notice were the snakes around the body of the.. Boy. His mind quickly got distracted by the fact that he had let in a boy, he guessed between 12 or 15 years old. A boy that got chased by someone or something that bad that he had to hide in his apartment. An apartment from a stranger he didn’t know. Though he was lucky he had stumbled into him and not some psychopath. Other than that his bright green eyes also stood out to him, they were much lighter than his own green eyes. They were poison green fitting the snake around his neck, aside from that the snakes didn’t seem to be happy with Vance’s company. Even though they didn’t really have the right to act like that, since he let them in, giving them a chance to hide from whatever was chasing them. Finally Vance had sighed, moving his body towards the fridge, while his hand was grabbing another glass from the cupboard. Filling it with milk from the fridge as well as a packet of biscuits, he poured some on a plate. With his hands full he walked towards the stranger and sat next to him. Still with enough space between to not completely upset the snakes around him. His mind still wasn’t completely here to realise how uncommon it is for someone to have snakes around himself. He had put down the plate between them as well as the glass of milk. He didn’t have anything here other than milk and water, he just guessed he might like milk.

’So why were you being chased?’ He then finally asked the boy, his voice had the usual warmth but still sounded hoarse because of the cold. He didn’t really feel the need to introduce himself or anything yet. The situation was so unusual already, besides he felt that he had the right to know what happened. He then could decide if he would let him stay or put him back outside again. He was already leaning to the choice of letting him stay, Vance couldn’t possibly let a kid go outside alone in the dark. Unless he had killed somebody, then he had to think of something else. The apartment was quiet, the whole complex was quiet since everyone would be heading to their beds now. But the sound of stern voices and various ringing sounds just cut through the silence. It sounded like the police waking up the residents of the apartments, he could hear several doors opening as well as voices he could recognise as his neighbours. Was the police chasing the kid? It was just a matter of time before he could hear knocking on his door. ’Be right there!’ He had shouted towards the door. While he stood up, he grabbed a blanket off the couch, putting it around the boy to hide the snakes as well as the beanie he had taken off. ’Now be quiet and play along.’ He had not asked him that, he had ordered him that. For the sake of his own safety.

Vance had then walked towards the door, opening it slowly to see the stern face of the policeman. ’Is there anything wrong?’ He had asked, politely. The policeman didn’t seem that polite or wanting to deal with him, his eyes just peered inside looking for something. ’Can I come inside?’ His voice was loud and unpleasant. Though he had no choice and stepped aside to let the man in, who almost rushed inside to find the kid sitting on the couch with a blanket, milk and cookies. Meanwhile Vance had followed him back inside. ’That’s my little brother, we’re both a bit sick so we can’t really sleep yet.’ His voice was calm as well as his whole body, showing no signs of not actually telling the truth. It took a while for the policeman to comprehend the situation, he had pulled up his nose and nodded. ’Alright then, if you find a boy with snakes don’t hesitate to contact us.’ With the same rush he had left his apartment. Vance closed the door behind him to walk back towards the boy. ’The police is looking for you?’ He sounded like he was in disbelief. He demanded an explanation now.

Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Empty
BerichtOnderwerp: Re: Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Icon_minitimezo maa 29, 2015 5:56 pm

I'm hurting babe. I'm broken down.

The snakes slowly crawled around Jinn's body, while Jinn was looking around. It looked like a nice place to live in. Jinn almost immediately felt curiousity flowing in his body when he noticed the bookcase. He wanted to see what kinda books were in the bookcase, but his mind and snakes told him to just sit down. The man looked like he was either sick or hungover. Either way it looked like the man wasn't really sharp. So Jinn just decided to sit down, without saying anything, and to just wait here until the policeman would pass by. Even though it was still a question if they wouldn't barg into the apartment.

Jinn sighed slightly and looked up when the man lit op the lights. Jinn closed his eyes a little, to get his eyes back on a normal vision and then looked towards the man. It seems like he finally noticed what he'd actually pulled in. His eyes first perked towards the snakes around Jinn's body, but then moved up and looked Jinn into the eyes. Jinn just waited. Waited for a reaction. Maybe a scream or just a sentence that would clarify some confusion, but nothing. The man just looked at him and then just turned his head away. Jinn frowned, doubted that the man was sober. No normal human would've stayed Jinn. No sober human. Jinn followed the man with his eyes. The man grabbed a glass and milk. Filled the glass with milk and poured some biscuits on a plate. After that, he just casually walked towards Jinn and sit beside him. Jinn tried to hold his straight face, but the man gave him a hard time. Did the man just actually give him something to drink and to eat?! Wasn't he afraid? Wasn't he curious why Jinn was being chased? Some snakes hissed. More out of confusion than out of suspicion. Jinn glanced at the glass milk, hiding the suprised look in his eyes. ’So why were you being chased?’ the man asked. Jinn pulled his eyes from the milk and looked at the man. Somehow Jinn felt relieved. The man wasn't that far that he wouldn't ask that question. Everyone would've asked that question, but Jinn didn't feel the need to answer it. So Jinn stayed silend. Waited for the moment that the man realised that he brought a real danger in his apartment.

It was quiet, but suddenly a door rung. Jinn had heard the cops running over the street. It seemded like they did search for him and that they wanted to find him, no matter what. Jinn sighed. There was no way back. The man would be suprised, tell the cops that Jinn was here and Jinn would be taking away. Beast hissed again. Wanted to leave this place soon as possible, but it wasn't possible. The cops were already at the door and knocked. ’Be right there!’ the man yelled and stood up. Jinn looked up with a suprised look on his face. The man grabed a blanket from the couch and pulled the beany of Jinn's head. Jinn opened his mouth to against the man, but shut it when the man covered the snakes with the blanket and looked at him. ’Now be quiet and play along.’ the man ordered. Jinn frowned. He wanted to ask why he should do as he said, but the man walked towards the door an opened it. Jinn shut his mouth and decided to play allong. He ordered the snakes to not move, since it would reveale the fact that he had a dozen snakes under the blanket.

Jinn didn't follow the conversation, but heard the common loud voice of the policeman that was following him earlier. Jinn looked up when the few men walked into the appartement. Jinn just looked at them with a straight face. ’That’s my little brother, we’re both a bit sick so we can’t really sleep yet.’ Jinn perked his eyes to the man that was standing besides the cops. He was lying, obviously. But he kept such a straight face that it was hard to tell. Jinn didn't react. He didn't say anything either. Any reaction he gave could awake some suspicious by the cops. Finally the cops believed the man and left the apartment. But before they left they told the man to contact them if they saw a boy with snakes. Jinn smirked a little, but then finally realised what the man just had done. He had covered Jinn. Jinn looked a with a questionable look in his eyes towards the man. Why would the man cover him? Why? Jinn didn't understand it, but he was glad. Even if it seemed so surreal.

Jinn looked at the man that walked towards Jinn. Jinn followed him, while pulling of the blanket. The snakes hissed a little. They weren't happy that they were put under a blanket, but Jinn igored them. He was happy that the man did it. He would almost feel like he needed to do something in return. ’The police is looking for you?’ the man asked with disbelief. Jinn looked at him in silendce. Of course the man deserved a clear answer. He safed Jinn and he still hadn't kicked Jinn out of his house, despite the snakes. Jinn looked away. The snakes were first doubting the situation, but now encoureging him to tell the man about the situation Jinn lived in. Jinn sighed slightly. It felt heavy on his chest. After a few second of silendce, Jinn finally looked back at the man and decided to give a response. "I stole some food from the market," Jinn answered. He didn't say why he needed the food or why he couldn't just buy it, but he still didn't feel comfortable talking about everything that happend. Jinn looked back to the glass of milk. He slowly wrapped his hands around the glass and picked it up. He brought his lips to the glass and slowly toke a nip of it. It was the first liquid he had tasted in a long time that wasn't from a river. He closed his eyes half because he liked the taste of it. He toke a few other gulpes and then put the glass back on the table. "And I may have killed someone allong the way," Jinn added casually and grabbed a biscuit to nibble on. He didn't dare to look the man in his eyes. It was like the man was really his brother. At least, that was how Jinn felt in a certain way. Jinn prepared himself to be scolded at any moment.

I need that red velvet, I need that sugar sweet
It seemed that Vance's apartment was the last one they had visited before they left the complex, without any catch though. Since it was already in the evening, peace had returned quickly and there was no sound from the other residents. Vance was still standing, somehow expecting a neighbour to ring asking what was possibly going on or just to have a little chat about the policemen. Fortunately after a while no one had bothered to overthink the situation, having policemen around and about wasn't very uncommon. His gaze was focused on the door for a while until he switched to the boy with the snakes. The first thing he noticed was the fact that he was looking for approval from the snakes, so he could communicate with them, that was pretty obvious. Yet somehow he still wasn't shocked by it, of course he was surprised. I mean, how many times do you see a kid with snakes. But with shape shifters everywhere it wasn't that odd having people being to communicate with animal. Anyhow after the snakes seemed to give him permission or anything, he started to explain. His answer was simple, yet said enough on why he was being chased. It didn't completely answer the fact why so many policemen were chasing him. He became silent, having his attention on the glass of milk. Vance had watched him silently, he seemed to like the milk. Probably hadn't had any proper drinks, the more you need it, the more you like it. 'And i may have killed someone along the way. There was no visible change in Vance's expression, his gaze was still neutral. He couldn't believe it at first, a kid from 12-15 years old with snakes killing a person. Yet the casualty paired with him avoiding looking Vance in the eyes made it seem believable. It wasn't actually a completely odd thing, not in Oldbay, just not in Kaechan. It was hard to really shock him by now, strange things did happen, a lot.

After a short silence, Vance finally sighed, what did he bring inside. What was he getting himself into, the kid seemed alone without any parents or whatsoever. Why else would he steal food or just kill someone. A kid with decent parents shouldn't just start killing people without god knows what reason. He also sensed that he would never listen to him if he said that he didn't approve of that. Besides who is he to judge the way he is living, but he couldn't possibly just let the kid go and let him continue his life with stealing food and killing. He walked back to the couch sitting back on the spot he had sit before. And why did you have to kill that person? There was no valid reason for killing someone ever, that was his opinion, sure you could wound them to defend yourself but straight up killing just wasn't a thing Vance could approve of. He wasn't going to bother to lecture him now, both his body and brain were tired. He guessed that the kid was tired too, it probably had been a long day for him. Maybe it was just a better idea to bring him home. If he did have one that is.

Maybe he didn't even need an explanation. He was curious, yes, but if he just brought him home to never see him again. It would just be wasted effort. His eyes shifted from the kid to the window, he could see the dark sky as well as the moon from where he was sitting. The longer he waited the later it would get. 'I will bring you home.' He said in the end, without taking any objection he had stood up to walk towards his room. He didn't fancy the idea of going out in his pyjamas. Who knows how long it was gonna take, how far the kid lived. He didn't bother putting a whole outfit on though, just switching to jeans and pulling on a zipvest was enough. He just quickly glanced into the mirror to see a tired reflection. His face didn't have the natural sunkissed glow, instead it was just pale with dark circles. Yet his dark green eyes still had the same warmth and brightness to it, there was at least still some life in his face. He sighed, he shouldn't worry about that now.

When walking back to the livingroom he didn't know what to expect. Perhaps the kid had ran away or was ready to threaten him or something. Though he didn't arrive in anything serious, he was just still there. (Standing or sitting whichever) He walked to the kitchen to quickly grab another glass of water to ease his thirst and mind. 'Are you ready to go?' He had asked with a better voice whilst cleaning up the glass. He felt alright now, but he would definitely feel worse tomorrow. Especially if he didn't went back to bed soon. The lack of sleep just got him, yet he had a feeling he wasn't going be able to sleep soon.

Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Empty
BerichtOnderwerp: Re: Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Escaping in a new way.(Vance) Icon_minitimevr apr 10, 2015 1:54 pm

All I cause is chaos. I'd better leave.

Jinn expected that he would be scolded at. Atleast that the man would give him an indignant reaction. Jinn knew that it wasn't normal, especially for a kid of his age, to murder people. But he had learned enough from his adoptionparents to break that thought. Eventhough only his father would understand it. No one is innocent. It was a quote that his adoptionfather would say everytime Jinn asked why he killed someone. It made Jinn forget that he needed a reason to kill someone. So now he just kills. Just like his father wanted him to be. To bad his father couldn't enjoy it though.

Jinn nibbled in silendce on the biscuit. It didn't had any particularly flavors that Jinn was attracted to. It was still better than the food he would usually eat. But at this point Jinn was just eating it to get distracted. He had this strange feeling that the man would scold him as if Jinn was his younger brother. Jinn didn't really get why he was thinking like that, but he knew that he was feeling like that. A strange silendce followed. Jinn slowly looked up, but the man still looked at him. There weren't many feelings described on the man's face. He was basically just standing there and looking at him. Was he in shock? Jinn nibbled again, still looking at the man. The man finally walked back to the couch and sat back on the spot where he had sat before. Jinn followed him with his eyes. A little curious sign was written in it. What was the man thinking? He wasn't acting like the most people did when Jinn murdered someone. " And why did you have to kill that person?" the man asked. Jinn rose an eyebrow. He swallowed the remain pieces of the biscuit and just stared at the man for a moment. Was he sane? Jinn decided to ignore those thoughts and to just answer the man's question. "Do I need a reason to kill a person?" Jinn asked as response on the man. He didn't really feel arguing with the man about the killing stuff. Jinn did what he wanted to do and if people had a problem with it, it was their problem, not his. He couldn't care less. He didn't run away from his home to get still scolded at. He wouldn't accept it.

Jinn noticed how the man glanced outside. Jinn followed his eyes to the dark sky outside. Jinn closed his eyes half. Maybe he should leave. He still needed a place to sleep or at least a safe ally where he could lay down without getting interrupted by policemen. 'I will bring you home.' the man suddenly said. Jinn looked up. He was a bit suprised. He wanted to stop the man and tell him he didn't have one, but the man didn't take any objections and walked away. Jinn looked at him till he was out of his sight. Slowly Jinn glanced over to his snakes. What should he do? Well he has to tell the man at least that he didn't have a home. Maybe he should just leave. The policemen were already gone and the man didn't seem in a good health, so he needed his rest. Jinn looked up when the man returned in a new set of clothes. He walked to the kitchen where he got himself another glass of water. 'Are you ready to go?' the man asked, while cleaning the glass. Jinn stood up and shoke his head, even though he doubted if the man would see it.

Jinn wasn't really the sort of guy that would apologize that easily, but he really made a mess of just coming here. "No I'm sorry," Jinn said even though there was still not enough emotion in his eyes to be seen. "I don't want to go home. Well let me refraise that: I won't go home." A harsh tone was to be heared in his last words. He wouldn't go home and everyone who tried him to get home, would die without a doubt. Jinn toke a few steps towards the hall. "I'm sorry for waking you up and for taking you down in my mess. I'll be leaving. Sleep well. I hope you feel better soon," Jinn said with a little smile around his lips.
